At First Church of God, family is the basis of everything we do. We believe the church is the
family of God. We are a warm, loving, friendly church whose purpose is "to bring people to
Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity
and equip them for their ministry in the church and their life mission

We strive to accomplish our purpose by constant devotion to a daily quiet time with God; the corporate
celebration of worship; the practice of prayer; learning and living the teachings of Jesus Christ;
encouraging and caring for every individual; the revealing of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection to
our local and global community; and by the release of every follower of Christ into their ministry in
His kingdom.
